The Montreal Gazette
"A Good Kick in the "But""
by Monique Polak
Michelle DeAngelis is a life coach, but she would have also made a great cheerleader. After only a few pages of this book, even confirmed curmudgeons will be grinning - and contemplating ways to bring more joy into their lives.
It's hard to resist DeAngelis's peppy, no-nonsense style. She uses expressions like, "You can bet your sweet patootie," and she is unpretentious about her goals: "Okay," she writes, "so we're not fixing world hunger here."
DeAngelis is dealing with another sort of hunger - our hunger to feel more alive, live more authentically, and have more fun.
